The CBA Briefing service is a comprehensive round-up of archaeological events, fieldwork, exhibitions and conferences and is one of the ways we encourage archaeology for all.

In order to encourage wider access to information, excavation and non-commercial events, advertising in CBA Briefing is free of charge. Briefing is also published six times a year as part of the British Archaeology magazine.

Briefing submission deadline

Tell us about your conferences and excavations before 4 January 2016 and we'll include them in the next issue of CBA Briefing available online and printed in British Archaeology magazine issue 147 (Mar/Apr 2016) available in shops from  5 February 2016. Send details as plain text within an email to CBA Briefing. Due to space it is not always possible to include all events within the printed magazine, but all events received will be included in Briefing online.

For contacts such as societies, units and universities, please see the CBA Guide to UK Archaeology Online or Training Online Resource Centre (TORC). To keep up-to-date with contemporary archaeological news and events, visit the CBA News page.
